I lied.. One more.... Its a bitch convincing people to like you. If I stop now call me a quitter. If lies were cats you'd be a litter. ♫ #

And with that, I bid thee goodnight Twitter. <3 #

New Layout

posted on April 6th, 2010 in Uncategorized

Over the past few days I’ve been updating this place and one of the major changes you’ll notice is that there’s a new layout. I needed an excuse to play around with some jQuery and decided that my portfolio would be the perfect place to do so. So.. ta da!

I also added a lot of the work that I did during my last year at Juniata and also some of my design work from here at the Art Institute.

The big news, however, is that I’ve applied to Duquesne University and hopefully I’ll be heading to Pittsburgh in the fall to start on a Master’s Degree. Heck, maybe I’ll go all the way and get a PhD in Media / Technology Studies so that I can teach some day. The possibilities in this field are endless and I’m determined to get as far as I possibly can!

Updates

I’ve gotten some of the content up now, but am still waiting on permission from some of my clients to use their projects as examples of my work in this portfolio.

I got my resume up and a piece of my writing (my Senior Distinction Thesis). I’m sure that I will have some more to add to it in the near future. I’m now going through the hoards of photographs that I have and doing editing/resizing so that I can upload them. I decided just to use my Flickr account to display them since I recently purchased a pro account. You can find a link to my Photography set under the portfolio tab. The rest of my Flickr feed its just fun things (and the occasional WoW screenshot)

Grand Opening

posted on June 2nd, 2009 in Uncategorized

I’ve finally opened up my own portfolio again! I had one a couple years ago which ran on a CMS that I had coded myself for a Web Development class project, but in an attempt to save myself some time, effort and headaches, I decided to use Wordpress for this one. I may come back at a later date and revisit the idea of running this place on my own CMS, but for now I’m sticking with this option.

I’m working on getting all of the content up and running here, but I decided not to use all of the projects that I’ve worked on in the past. I’m only going to include the ones that I do from here on out and the ones that I completed during college. All the other stuff is pretty much too old to even be relevant anymore anyways. I’m going to be putting some of my photography up on here to at some point in the future, but I’m not sure when I will get around to that. I’m probably just going to end up using my Flickr feed instead of actually adding them here on the site. Once I get it figured out, I’ll probably add a “Latest Photo” section to the side bar over there.
